Sail Day June 26
A day of sailing, food and recognition.
  Tim
and Wynne Dexter donated this Sunfish to the Boy Scouts. Richard
Gotz was the organizer behind the donation. The Scouts presented a
certificate to the Dexter's. Patrick was the first to sail it.
After sailing, we had hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch.

Charleston Sail and Power Squadron, Mr. Billy Lynes and Mr. David Walsh were the main speakers.
Mr. Andy Poole of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, offered to teach the
SC DNR Boater Safety certification course.
A special thanks to Mrs. Donna Lynes, Mr. Evans and Troop 722 for
the excellent gift and donation of new Signal Flags to the Ship. |
