June, Camp Moultrie
Bob Webb designed and built a rig for lifting large boats on and off
trailers. Now we can bring AMORE to Camp Moultrie for repairs and
painting. On the Ashley River we have two sources for lifting boats
out of the water and setting them on trailers. Below is our Camp Moultrie
lifting rig removing the Nautilus from the trailer.

There are 5 sailboats, 21' to 26', available to the Sea Scouts should
our unit expand and have a place for them.
May 13, 2008 Tuesday meeting
The teens pulled up the crab trap aboard the Coast Guard Cutter INGHAM.
It is now a living reef.

There is a crab in the upper right corner of the first photo. (below)

Sailoree Sail Training at Camp Moultrie
May 2-3, 2008
Ship 510 was assigned to manage the Scout Council's Second Annual
Sailoree at Camp Moultrie.
34 Scouts registered for the event. Leadership included:
Camp Rainger: Stan Stanley
Program Chairman: Bob Webb
Skipper: THom Harrison
First Mate: Bob Heck
Boatswain: Andy Harrison
Boatswain's Mate: Kyle Heck
They were supported by US Navy instructors and Scout Leaders.
