Andy
and his dad started a new marine science lad aboard the Ingham. They
cleaned a room, polished the brass that was there and added more marine life to
the tank. The photo is of Keith Grybowski and his assistant, Chris Jackson,
inspecting the new science lab.
Andy donated a 55 gallon fish tank to the oceanographic science lab aboard the Coast Guard cutter Ingham. Photos are Andy and his dad, Tom Harrison, filling the tank with harbor water. Andy then caught some shrimp and put them in the tank.
Keith Grybowski, the director of the Charleston Explorer Oceanographic School at Patriots Point, gave our teens a primer on oceanographic.
