Mr. Richard Gotz donated his 26-foot Pearson to the Coastal Carolina Council, BSA. It was then assigned to Patriots Point Sea Scouts, Ship 510.

October 14, 2006, the Director of Camp Moultrie Stan Stanly and Bob Webb inspected Amore that Mr. Richard Gotz was offering the BSA. October 23, The Scout Council took ownership of it.
